We met Dorothy Schrager through a friend of ours whom she had helped find a wonderful apartment several years earlier and hired her as our real estate broker. Following forty years of living in a co-op loft in Manhattan, we sold our home and moved out of state when we retired. Recently, we decided to purchase a pied-a-terre to return to be closer to friends; family; our faith-based community; and the culture and resources easily accessible in the city.
We were uncertain about exactly what we were seeking: the neighborhood; type of apartment - co-op vs. condo; pre-war vs. more contemporary architectural features; and size - number of bedrooms and bathrooms; and necessary amenities for seniors, such as a full time doorman; elevator; and accessibility. We know we are now on track to find the perfect new home.

Her in-depth knowledge of the Manhattan real estate market is invaluable and she ensured that the available apartments she showed us aligned with our ever-changing priorities.
